Thalazur Royan spa facilities:
Sea area: a large multifunction pool of sea water of 167 sq yard in the heart of the institute, Jacuzzi, geyser, swan necks, water jets massage and bubbling seats, compose the aquatic course. Sauna, hammam and vaporium (room of sea drizzle charged in oligo-elements and in negative ions) complete all the animations which are freely accessible.
Fitness area: gym classes and aquaerobics are part of your cure and are placed under the supervision of trainers who can advise you to optimize the adavantages of your spa programme.
Relaxation and Herbal Tea rooms: during spa treatments opening hours, a fountain with herbal tea is freely accessible, you can relax there, as well as in the room dedicated to rest or in the solarium by the swimming pool.
Shopping area: several shops sell products in direct relation with your cure. You will find herbal teas, relaxation CDs but also Thalazur products based on sea elements, used for the greater part in the formulation of your care.
Beauty area: thanks to Maria Galland products, take advantage of a complete range of care to to chase away your fatigue and stress. Discover the unique " emphythéose » method which creates a natural face-lift.
The spa proposes numerous treats which you will find in the various programmes but which are also accessible a la carte:
Individual and collective care of hydrotherapy: bubbling bath, jet shower, affusion shower, shower with massage, aquatic gym, relaxation in swimming pool, gym physio in swimming pool, gym for your back.
Care based on seaweed and muds: warm seaweeds wrap, cryogenic seaweed wrap, sea mud wrap.
Other care: foot and hand care, hydrojet, digital pressure.
Massages: dry massage, lymphatic drainage, manual therapy, modelling under affusion, Californian massage, shiatsu, Thai massage, anagement of the fear of water, nutritional balance assessment.
Your care are planned the first day of your cure and scheduled alternately, one day in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
Programmes take place from Monday till Saturday from 8:30 am till 12:30 am and from 2 pm till 6 pm, on Sundays from 9 am till 12:30 am.
The playful installations of the spa are freely accessible during your stay: swimming pool, sauna, hammam, vaporium, fitness and all classes of gym and aquaerobics.
The spa and thalasso Thalazur Royan features full week programmes as well as week-ends to find relaxation and serenity for a short break. In Royan all the elements to make successful holidays are gathered: the comfort of the accommodation in Novotel, a quality cooking, the benefactions of the spa and thalasso programmes, a privileged geographic setting, by the Atlantic Ocean, in the Charente Maritime department.
Medical examination is compulsory for all programmes and stays: 23€ and not refundable.
Spa attendants can go to the swimming pool, the sauna, the hammam, the gym and the solarium (price 12 € / day / pers).
Spa guests must wear sports gear in the gyma and relaxation room: 2 swimsuits, in synthetic material, a bath cap and sandals (they are offered for stays of 6 days and more). They can otherwise be bought at the spa shop. Bathrobes and towels are supplied for each treat.

The leitmotivs of this region which lines the Atlantic Ocean are: sea, light and sun. Under a climate softened by the influences of the Gulf Stream, Royan is an architectural gem of the 50s standing out against surroundings which leave you baffled: pines forests, calcareous cliffs diving into the ocean and kilometres of beach.

The Accor Novotel Thalazur hotel of Royan, directly attached to the spa, proposes 83 air-conditioned rooms of about 268 sq feet with a modern comfort and contemporary decoration. The hotel faces the sea: you can admire from your room the Headland of Grave, the Lighthouse of Cordouan and fishermen's sheds.
Rooms are all equipped for 4 people with a big bed for 2 persons, a stowaway bed, TV with satellite, telephone, safe, mini-bar, private balcony, fire alarm, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer.
Possibility of interconnecting rooms, smoking and no-smoking rooms.
Services of the hotel:
Reception, pets accepted: 19 € a day, including food (dry food) and loan of fittings on demand, accessible(approachable) indoor swimming pool open to children of more than 14 years, private car park outside or covered car park, 2 children under 16 accommodated free of charge in their parents′room, room service possible from 6 am to midnight: warm dishes or cold food, elevator, disabled access in the common parts of the hotel, bar opened from 6 am to midnight.
7 meeting / seminar rooms from 41 to 59 sq yard which can hold from 10 to 200 people according to the rooms′ layout.

For the clients of the spa who do not wish to be accommodated in the spa and want to plan their timetable freely, while preserving a great comfort of accommodation, it is possible to rent an apartment in a residence situated not far from the spa. It proposes studios measuring about 23 sq yard as well as one-bedroom flats and two-bedroom flats which can accommodate up to 5 people.
Restaurants : Restaurant "Le Fa"
The restaurant " Le Fâ " proposes you elaborate or traditional menus, of high quality as well as creative and delicious. Seafood has the place of honour in this restaurant: oysters of Marennes, shells and noble fishes freshly caught will delight your senses. Depending on the season, meals can be served outside to enjoy the exceptional panoramic sight on the Atlantic Ocean.
The restaurant is recommended by the labels “ Quality France tourism catering ” and “ Cuisineries Gourmandes of the French Provinces ”
It should be noted that the Chef also proposes a formula valid for every cure, only in full board: "Chrono-nutrition": it is a new nutritional principle helping you to slim without being on a slimming diet, based on a reorganization of your daily diet after a personalized check-up. Associated to care of thalassotherapy, this method helps you to slim with greed.

Sports et leisures : Royan is provided with all the sports equipments and with the leisure activities that a big resort can offer to their visitors:
- Tennis: the Garden Tennis next to the spa is one of the oldest and most renowned of tennis clubs in France
- Golf: in the heart of the forest of Coubre, it includes a course of eighteen holes on 6 452 yards which stretches in the middle of pines and natural dunes. It is part of the Golfy network, created in 1990, first European network with 80 partner golf clubs.

In the surroundings, some sites are worth the detour: the fortress island of Fort Boyard, the Royal Rope factory (Corderie Royale) in Rochefort, the port of La Rochelle, the fishermens′shed and nets in Fouras, the Zoo of Palmyre, the Church Ste Radegonde in Talmont, the islands of Oléron, Ré, Madame, Aix: gems of the coast of Charente, the caves of Regulus, go boating towards the lighthouse of Cordouan, the Mill of Fâ, the English-style botanical park of the Domain of Chaillaud.
