At the mouth of the superb estuary of the Gironde river, the Spa Centre is associated to a 3-star hotel. Therefore, there is no need for you to leave the comfort of the hotel to go for your spa treatments.
The Thalassotherapy Centre is divided into several well-being areas:
-Spa Area: recently renovated, this area is modern and innovative in many ways. Claddings of basalt, walls of pebbles, black granite floors... The zen ambiance, along with the present minerals conveys a very “classy” atmosphere that changes from the usual white and blue colors spa centers like to feature. This plus of the spa centre of Royan is the first step of your sensory and sensual trip towards well-being.
-Water Area: at the heart of the spa centre, this area proposes a large pool of sea water of 140m² facing the Atlantic Ocean. It features a sauna and hammam, as well as swans neck ducts, geysers, hydro-massaging jets, bubbling beds that are there for your well-being only.
-Fitness Area: Optimize the benefits of your spa package in France by taking gym courses with professionals.
-Beauty Area: with a famous brand for beauty products as a partner, in this area you shall be able to benefit from beauty treatments for your face and body.
-Relaxation and Herbal Tea Area: there you shall be able to enjoy the solarium and resting rooms. Water fountains and herbal teas are proposed there.
The Spa Centre of Royan offers a large variety of packages and treatments for either week-long stays, short-stays or weekend-long stays. You can thus choose which package suites you best according to your needs and the time you have for your spa vacation in France.
Practical Info:
Bath-caps and slippers are compulsory inside the centre (they are offered for all stays lasting over 6, and can be bought at the reception desk). Bathrobes and towels are provided.
The medical consult is highly recommended for any spa holiday and is compulsory for any stay lasting over 2 days. You can undergo the medical consultation at the hotel (counted as a surcharge for the Marine Vitality, Institute and Short Stay Spa Packages, included for all other specific packages lasting over 6 days), or bring along your own medical certificate clearing your for spa treatments.
The treatments are scheduled for half days, alternating between mornings and afternoons. They begin the day following your arrival at the hotel.
All spa packages start on Mondays (check-in on Sunday), except for the Marine Vitality and Institute spa package that can start on any day of the week.
The guests and accompanying guests have free access to the recreational area during the day (gym and aqua-gym courses comprised).
No treatments allowed for pregnant women and minors.
SPECIAL BACK SPA PACKAGE 6D
With this Special Back Spa Package, the Spa Centre of Royan, in Western France, guaranties quality treatments to help permanently relieve you from your back pains.For your spa break in France, his Spa Package comprises of 27 treatments for 6 days, and starts on Mondays only.
There are 4 to 5 treatments per day as follows:
-6 group treatments: 3 marine stretching with a physiologist, 3 back gymnastics
-6 individual spa treatments: hydrojets, underwater shower
-3 affusion massages
-3 seaweed wraps
The extras of this Special Back Spa Package are:
-3 hydromassaging baths with seaweed jam
-2 full body massages
-1 manual therapy
-3 sea mud applications
For the duration of your Special Back Spa Package, you shall have free access to the recreational area that features a multifunction pool, sauna, Turkish bath, resting room, fitness room and all gym and aqua-gym sessions. Moreover, these activities should emphasize the beneficial effects of your spa package and are highly recommended.
The bath-cap and slippers are compulsory inside the centre. They are offered for this Special Back Spa Package. Bathrobes and towels are also provided.

The resort, which is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, fulfills the 3 requirements of perfect holidays: sea, sun and beach. The climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream, is sweet and warm. This 3 star hotel is directly integrated to the spa centre of Royan. It offers 83 rooms featuring air-conditioning and offering a vast space and modern comfort in a most beautifully decorated background. Moreover, the Hotel faces the sea.
Each room offers a private balcony with sea view. You shall be able to admire the Pointe de Grave and the Cordouan Lighthouse from your room, as well as the wondrous small fishermen's houses built on stilts.
All rooms feature a double bed,a sofa-bed, a TV, a telephone, a safe, a mini bar, a free WIFI connection and a platter with everything for tea and coffee.

This includes a lot of sea food such as Marenne Oysters and other shells and fish of the region, freshly fished off the Ocean, which should please you very much. Depending on the season, meals can be served on private terraces for you to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Atlantic.
The decor features most elegant Ebony wood, inspired by the fishermen's houses that can be admired on the estuary of the Gironde River.
The Chef also proposes a balanced formula, available for all spa packages on a full board basis, without surcharge. These balanced formulas are in fact a new nutritional concept to help loose weigh without the fold-backs of a diet. It is based on a reorganization of your everyday meals based on a personalized assessment by a professional. Associated to spa treatments, it helps you slim down while still enjoying tasteful, delicious meals.
Vegetarian and Children's menus are prepared if asked for.
